Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create engineering designs involving site layout, grading, drainage, hydraulics, hydrology, water distribution, collection systems, storage tanks, impoundments, foundation designs, stormwater infrastructure, treatment, and occasionally single-story structures under direct supervision.
  • Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
  • Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
  • Update design requirements as necessary.
  • Contribute to the firm’s technical knowledge management by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
  • Submit technical papers and designs for publication in technical journals.
  • May create or collaborate on posters or presentation materials for conferences.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (0 years experience acceptable).
  • Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
