The Chief People Organization Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship focused on human capital strategy, business advisory, and HR functions at Bank of America.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Support line of business initiatives to create a great workplace environment.
- Engage with senior leaders to understand CPO’s role in business decisions and strategy.
- Contribute to business advisory, operations, HR processes, and special projects.
- Support programs that promote the brand’s story and franchise value.
- Measure performance and conduct business reviews and analyses.
- Identify and execute opportunities for business process design and risk mitigation.
- Assist with messaging, internal and corporate communications, media, and communication strategies.
- Support reporting, analysis, special projects, and other key business priorities.
- Interns are assigned to teams across CPO including Learning & Business Performance, Compensation & Benefits, Corporate Social Responsibility, Employee Relations, Communications, Public Policy, Global Talent, Governance, HR Business Partner/Generalists, Opportunity & Inclusion, and Workforce Development.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s direct to Master’s degree with graduation between November 2026 and August 2027.
- Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Industrial and Labor Relations, Organization Development, Communications, Economics, Environmental Studies, Event Management, International Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, or related degrees.
- Minimum preferred GPA of 3.2.
- Strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office.
- Intellectual curiosity, drive for operational excellence, and commitment to sustainable results.
- Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future for this role.
- Bank of America does not complete third party forms from colleges, universities, or other parties.
Training & Development
- Extensive formal training at program start covering bank mechanics, data literacy, and executive-ready presentations.
- On-the-job support, events, and mentorship throughout the internship.
- Participation in a Summer Intern mentorship program.
- Access to enterprise executive speaker series and frequent educational events.
