Internship opportunity at 7-Eleven focusing on Fresh Food Merchandising, offering project-based learning and leadership exposure.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with a coach to discuss project progress and receive feedback.
  • Touring a store and learning about distribution systems and merchandising principles.
  • Supporting the Fresh Food Category Team and collaborating with Product Development, Design, and Quality Assurance.
  • Assisting the Senior Category Manager in developing and managing sales plans.
  • Analyzing costs and retails for profitability and assortment performance.
  • Preparing for vendor meetings and engaging in product assortment and cost negotiations.
  • Providing insights to leadership on merchandise strategies.

About You:

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or Marketing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of retail and management principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and focus on details.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
