Amazon MGM Studios seeks Casting Interns to support US TV or Movies Casting Teams, gaining hands-on experience in casting operations and studio workflows.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting department coordinators with script reading, character breakdowns, cast picture grids, talent lists, data entry, and administrative tasks
- Listening to meetings to learn about the casting process and receive casting feedback
- Participating in weekly casting team meetings for updates on all series
- Watching select cast auditions and discussing them with coordinators and executives
- Working on a Capstone Project involving research and collaboration with other Amazonians
- Gaining exposure to operational organization, administrative processes, development, budgeting, and Amazon Studios’ systems and workflows
- Supporting both Series and Movies Casting Teams with opportunities to learn about both areas
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Commit to a 12-week internship, working 40 hours per week
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher in Film and Television Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, or related fields; non-Arts majors with strong interest in Film and TV are encouraged to apply
- Preferred experience in entertainment or campus productions, including student films, leadership in productions or organizations, or casting experience
- Knowledge of current and emerging talent, popular shows, and movies across streaming and non-streaming platforms
- Passion for independent learning and proactive growth
- Team player with strong work ethic, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $40,529 to $49,535 per year depending on geographic market
