Join Shamrock Trading Corporation as a Carrier Sales Representative to build and manage a network of truckload and LTL providers across the US and Canada in a dynamic, performance-based role.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Solicit new carriers to join the carrier network
- Develop long-term relationships with shippers and carriers
- Build and manage existing carrier network to meet shipping customer needs
- Improve customer service, transit times, and transportation costs
- Coordinate logistics activities, including scheduling arrivals and delivery appointments
- Track and trace orders and complete all load-related paperwork
- Participate actively in transportation bids for current and prospective clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
About You
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to cross-sell services across all brands
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
