Join Texas Instruments as a Systems Marketing Engineer to develop innovative system-level solutions and collaborate across teams to accelerate customer product life cycles.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Work with customers to provide innovative solutions to their most challenging problems
  • Utilize TI’s broad portfolio to combine TI parts to create whole system level solutions
  • Combine hardware and software capabilities to integrate complete TI solutions
  • Develop reference designs including block diagrams, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing
  • Interface directly with TI business units and customers to influence product roadmaps
  • Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancements
  • Provide complete documentation for system level solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug system issues working directly with customers
  • Gain exposure to Applications Engineering, Product Marketing Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Sales through formal learning, projects, and on-the-job development

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Understanding of and experience with system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms, and creating system reference models
  • Knowledge of structured and/or object-oriented programming (C, C++) and signal processing tools (Matlab)
  • Ability to analyze common electrical circuits
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present solutions to key stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
  • Initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
  • Familiarity with schematic capture simulation tools
  • Ability to use data and calculations to select best fitting parts
  • Ability to break down and analyze complex systems
