Join Texas Instruments as a Systems Marketing Engineer to develop innovative system-level solutions and collaborate across teams to accelerate customer product life cycles.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work with customers to provide innovative solutions to their most challenging problems
- Utilize TI’s broad portfolio to combine TI parts to create whole system level solutions
- Combine hardware and software capabilities to integrate complete TI solutions
- Develop reference designs including block diagrams, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing
- Interface directly with TI business units and customers to influence product roadmaps
- Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancements
- Provide complete documentation for system level solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug system issues working directly with customers
- Gain exposure to Applications Engineering, Product Marketing Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Sales through formal learning, projects, and on-the-job development
About You
The company is looking for:
- Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Understanding of and experience with system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms, and creating system reference models
- Knowledge of structured and/or object-oriented programming (C, C++) and signal processing tools (Matlab)
- Ability to analyze common electrical circuits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present solutions to key stakeholders and customers
- Ability to establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
- Initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
- Familiarity with schematic capture simulation tools
- Ability to use data and calculations to select best fitting parts
- Ability to break down and analyze complex systems
