Join Texas Instruments as a Sourcing Specialist to develop sourcing strategies, manage vendor relationships, and support supply chain innovation.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Develop and implement appropriate sourcing strategies to meet corporate objectives.
- Monitor supply market drivers and adjust sourcing strategy to meet future business performance goals.
- Own a spend category and its sourcing strategy.
- Oversee vendor relationships including price negotiation, quotations, contracts, yield agreements, service agreements, warranties, rebates, quality measurement, capacity reservation, forecasts, and delivery performance.
- Collaborate with global operational teams to resolve vendor management or supply assurance issues (risk mitigation, business continuity planning).
- Work with new product development groups to source next technology needs in manufacturing and IC design.
- Leverage the supply chain to innovate new projects within area of specialization.
- Manage vendor expectations and set goals aligned with business needs using TI’s supplier performance framework.
- Execute with ownership and urgency in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, self-motivated environment.
- Analyze and anticipate needs based on market trends.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills enabling on-time project delivery.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with people across functions, countries, and cultures.
- Ability to build strong, influential relationships.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize work, balance multiple projects, and drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
