Building Structural Engineer Intern (Start ASAP)

Join Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP as a Building Structural Intern to work on diverse infrastructure and building projects in a collaborative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Collaborate with engineers and architects on projects including buildings, industrial facilities, water/wastewater plants, and waterfront facilities
• Receive training in structural analysis and design for various building types and materials
• Develop concept designs and create construction documents for clients across multiple markets

About You

The company is looking for:

• Current enrollment in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering bachelor or master program, preferably with Structural Concentration
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD) is a plus
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

Training & Development

• Strong mentoring culture with a focus on staff development
• Training in structural analysis, design, concept development, and construction documentation
