Join Whitman, Requardt & Associates as an Entry-Level Transportation Bridge Engineer to design and analyze bridge and transportation structures with expert mentorship.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with the design and analysis of highway and transit-related bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures.
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and plan sets.
- Support senior engineers in developing construction documents and specifications.
- Conduct fieldwork, including bridge inspections, data collection, and site visits as needed.
- Apply structural engineering principles and software tools to solve complex design challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across WRA to deliver high-quality projects.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; master’s degree preferred.
- 0-4 years of relevant experience.
- Desire for relevant internship experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a design group setting.
- EIT/FE certification preferred.
- NBIS inspection experience is a plus.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without visa sponsorship.
