Join Mastercard as a BizOps Engineer Intern to support platform reliability, service management, and automation in a global payments leader.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • React to unplanned service management functions to oversee platforms and restore service during issues
  • Protect service readiness activities to prevent production issues
  • Enable automation activities to help programs run faster and flawlessly
  • Support production readiness by managing business risk of customer interactions with Mastercard’s technology platforms
  • Collaborate within BizOps teams including Site Reliability Engineers and Service Management Reliability Engineers

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related field, graduating December 2026 or later
  • Strong focus and interest in technology including Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology
  • Familiarity with agile software development and application development lifecycles integrated with operations
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure, middleware, ITSM fundamentals, databases, and project management
  • Experience with Java, SQL, Python, and Linux preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to tackle complex problems
