Join Interactive Brokers as a Financial Services Representative to resolve client issues and support global electronic brokerage platforms in a hybrid work environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolving routine and complex client service issues with sound judgment and courtesy.
  • Managing cash deposits, withdrawals, position transfers, and account administrative functions.
  • Providing information on product availability, exchange, clearing, depository functions, order types, routing logic, and order status.
  • Addressing trade and delivery settlement, exercise & assignment, expiration processing, and corporate actions.
  • Explaining margin calculations, commission structure, interest, and fees.
  • Coordinating with local and international Client Service divisions and external departments such as Programming, Clearing, Cashiering, and Compliance.
  • Using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting client issues.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree.
  • Fluency in Portuguese (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience in financial services (brokerage, banking, trading, exchange, or clearinghouse) preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for telephone, email, and online chat client inquiries.
  • In-depth understanding of stocks, securities, options, futures, options on futures, foreign exchange, and fixed income.
  • Working knowledge of exchange operations, regulations, product offerings, execution platforms, rules, and margin methodologies.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
