Join Barclays as a Banking Associate Summer Intern in New York, working on live investment banking deals and client solutions during a 10-week program.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Collaborate on live deals, client pitches, and advise a broad range of corporate clients with structured solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage deployment and launch of new products and services.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support under decreasing supervision.
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support investment banking decision-making.
• Understand business operations and learn from industry experts.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.
• Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders.
• Mitigate risk and develop policies/procedures supporting control and governance.
• Collaborate with other business areas to align with business strategy.
• Engage in complex data analysis from multiple sources to solve problems effectively.
• Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Pursuing an MBA degree, graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
• GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Keen interest in business and finance with curiosity to learn.
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated through extracurricular activities.
