Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Collaborate on live deals, client pitches, and advising a broad range of corporate clients with structured solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and new product launches.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support under decreasing supervision.
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support investment banking decisions.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.
• Perform financial analysis, valuation, industry research, client due diligence, and prepare written materials such as offering memoranda and business presentations.
• Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function and build a network of contacts.
• Adhere to Barclays Values and Mindset, ensuring compliance with policies, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Undergraduate students with a target graduation date within one year of internship completion.
• A GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
• Keen interest in business and finance with curiosity to learn.
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated through extracurricular activities.
• Ability to perform prescribed activities timely and to a high standard, with in-depth technical knowledge in assigned areas.
• Strong communication skills to guide, persuade, and influence decision-making.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $110,000 for the summer internship.
