Bachelors/Masters - CEI Transportation Engineering Intern (Jun 2026)

Join a global team as an Engineering Intern supporting construction inspection on transportation and infrastructure projects.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support construction inspection for roadway, bridge, and utility projects.
• Perform field measurements, material sampling, and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Assist engineers with plan reviews, contractor submittals, and project documentation.
• Learn CDM Smith’s standards and best practices for quality assurance and project delivery.

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related Engineering degree.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interest in transportation and construction engineering.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to field conditions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with CAD or inspection software is a plus.
