Support APQP process execution, safe launches, and continuous improvement at Aalberts Surface Technologies in a hands-on engineering role.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in executing the APQP process, including prototyping, tooling development and qualification, determining process capability, packaging/labeling, documentation, and associate training.
  • Involvement with customer-specific Safe Launches.
  • Participating in the transition from safe launch to series production.
  • Supporting continuous improvement as well as corrective and preventive actions.

About You:

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $15 per hour.
  • Schedule: 8am–4pm, Monday–Friday.
  • Hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
