Join CohnReznick as an Audit Winter Intern in Chicago, IL, contributing to audit engagements and gaining experience in a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working on all aspects of audit engagements including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
  • Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
  • Resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while supporting daily client workflow.
  • Collaborating with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners across various industries.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • Planning to complete 150 credit hours between May 2027 and September 2028 to be CPA licensed.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA in both major and overall.
  • Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the internship start.
  • Leadership experience in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or team projects.
  • Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must provide proof of work authorization (U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency); no sponsorship for entry-level roles.
