Join CohnReznick as an Audit Summer Intern in Charlotte, NC, gaining hands-on experience in audit engagements within a collaborative hybrid work environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Working on all aspects of audit engagements including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
- Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
- Resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients while supporting daily client workflow.
- Collaborating closely with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners across various industries.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Candidates planning to complete 150 credit hours between May 2027 and September 2028 to qualify for CPA licensure.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in both major and overall coursework.
- Successful completion of at least two accounting courses prior to the internship start.
- Leadership experience in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or team projects.
- Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proof of work authorization (U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency) required; no sponsorship for entry-level roles.
