Audit Associate role is responsible for supporting audits, reviews, and accounting services at CohnReznick, a top professional services firm with a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
- Working on a variety of client deliverables and preparing work papers.
- Resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
- Understanding clients’ accounting systems.
- Applying concepts of materiality and audit risk.
- Preparing informative, well-documented, and cross-referenced work papers.
- Collaborating closely with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
- Serving clients across industries such as Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office).
- Engaging in a hybrid work model, with an average of 3 days per week in the office, and utilizing collaborative office spaces.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
- Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2025 - September 2026 to be CPA licensed.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both major and overall.
- Leadership positions in extracurricular activities preferred.
- Prior work or internship experience (accounting experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based culture.
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proof of work authorization (U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency); sponsorship is not offered for entry-level roles.
