Associate Tax Summer (Jun 2027)

Join Forvis Mazars as an Associate Tax Summer 2027 in Tulsa, working with diverse clients to prepare tax returns and develop CPA-eligible skills.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
• Calculate tax extensions or estimate payments
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• Pursuing education requirements to be a licensed CPA in the state of the office location
• Completion of 150 credit hours prior to start date
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the office state
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and ability to attend off-site meetings and events in person
• Effective time management
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team
• Problem-solving attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Preferred: Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing tax work
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available
