Associate, Software Engineer (Start ASAP)

L3Harris seeks an Associate Software Engineer to develop embedded software for advanced tactical radio equipment in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts in software development for target applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system design
• Support all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded real-time control software
• Develop software test procedures, programs, and related documentation
• Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
• Participate in peer reviews, identify, track, and repair defects
• Utilize various software languages (C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, Qt) on Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Linux, QNX, Integrity, Windows CE, etc.) for multiple processor designs

About You

The company is looking for:

• Applicants pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering within the last 12 months
• Eligibility to obtain DoD Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship
