L3Harris Technologies seeks an Associate Procurement professional to support commodity agreements and site-specific service procurements in Greenville, TX.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing activities related to commodity agreements and site-specific service procurements
  • Supporting procurement agreement setup and ensuring accurate configuration in the ERP system
  • Collaborating with suppliers to gather information and maintain accurate records
  • Supporting operational targets and procurement process implementation under moderate supervision
  • Communicating operational processes and procedures internally and externally
  • Identifying and suggesting process improvements within procurement activities
  • Supporting direct sourcing of critical site-specific services in coordination with operations
  • Maintaining documentation and records of procurement activities and supplier interactions
  • Assisting commodity teams in supplier management and engagement
  • Monitoring and managing purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements
  • Preparing and presenting reports on procurement activities and sourcing initiatives
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental objectives

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Graduate Degree with 0-1 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and capability in Business Intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR), procurement codes, and contractual procedures
  • Buyer experience within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment preferred
  • Knowledge of procurement documentation, purchasing methods, and quality analysis of equipment, materials, services, and supplies
  • Understanding of invoicing methods including shipping, handling charges, discounts, and taxes
  • Ability to interpret and explain purchasing policies and procedures
  • Ability to conduct price analysis and simple proposal evaluations
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
