Associate, Manufacturing Engrg (Start ASAP)

L3Harris seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing productivity, quality, and cycle times.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform work measurement, process flow analysis, and develop/implement tools for measuring productivity and program cost performance
• Pull, analyze, and report data to support Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management decision-making
• Develop, validate, implement, and maintain labor standards for manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups on concurrent engineering and producibility analysis
• Implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Communicate effectively across all levels, both written and verbal
• Learn quickly and adapt to new environments
• Develop manufacturing work standards

About You

The company is looking for:

• Applicants pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Ability and drive to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and/or supply chain/logistics methods and processes
• Experience in non-repetitive, design-to-order manufacturing environments
• Preferred: Six Sigma Belt (Yellow, Green, or Black) and/or Lean Expert Certification
