L3Harris seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to improve manufacturing productivity, quality, and cycle times.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform work measurement, process flow analysis, and develop/implement tools for measuring productivity and program cost performance
- Pull, analyze, and report data to support Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management decision-making
- Develop, validate, implement, and maintain labor standards for manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups on concurrent engineering and producibility analysis
- Implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Communicate effectively across all levels, both written and verbal
- Learn quickly and adapt to new environments
- Develop manufacturing work standards
About You
The company is looking for:
- Applicants pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability and drive to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and/or supply chain/logistics methods and processes
- Experience in non-repetitive, design-to-order manufacturing environments
- Preferred: Six Sigma Belt (Yellow, Green, or Black) and/or Lean Expert Certification
