L3Harris seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and test RF/microwave systems supporting national security missions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Determining design approaches and parameters
- Performing system analysis to assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints
- Utilizing modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Selecting components and equipment based on specifications and reliability analysis
- Performing simulations and presenting design reviews to peer engineers
- Writing scripts to control synthesis and build tools
- Conducting RF/Microwave device testing and evaluation including s-parameter, large signal load pull characterization, and modulated signal measurements
- Using commercial RF design and analysis tools such as ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with VHDL, MCM, HFSS, Network, Power, Analog, Antennas, Controls, ENE, RF, Photonics, Modem, EDA, DSP, MATLAB, Communication Systems, FPGA, Aerospace industry, or Optical Engineering
- Knowledge of Code V and/or Zemax software tools
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
- Experience with FRED, Matlab, Python
- Understanding of circuit analysis and operational concepts
- Familiarity with computing environments such as LINUX and Windows
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
