Join Forvis Mazars as an Associate in Audit, applying critical thinking and building client relationships in a full-time role in Salt Lake City.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• Pursuing education requirements to be a licensed CPA in Utah
• Completion of 150 credit hours prior to start date
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in Utah
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and ability to attend off-site meetings in person
• Effective time management
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team
• Problem-solving attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Preferred: Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available

Training & Development

Associates will be coached by experienced staff and management personnel to develop technical skills and career foundations.
