Associate Audit Summer - Salt Lake City (Jun 2027)

Associate Audit Summer 2027 position in Salt Lake City offers full-time audit experience with client interaction and professional growth at Forvis Mazars.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• CPA eligibility and pursuing education requirements to be licensed CPA in Utah
• Completion of 150 credit hours prior to start date
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in Utah
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable transportation and ability to attend off-site meetings in person
• Effective time management
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team
• Problem-solving attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Preferred: Prior internships in public accounting performing audit work
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
