Assoc, Manufacturing Engineering (Start ASAP)

L3Harris seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to develop production processes and support strategic defense programs.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Analyze engineering design documents to develop methods, processes, tools, jigs, and fixtures for product fabrication
• Develop and prepare work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and process validation plans
• Lead the set-up and validation of new production lines and provide training
• Monitor production key performance indicators and respond to ensure goals are met
• Analyze manufacturing production problems and implement corrective actions involving designs, materials, and processes
• Provide technical expertise and support related to manufacturing
• Conduct capacity analyses, capability studies, and gage repeatability and reproducibility studies
• Support production through operator training, process issue resolution, and monitoring existing operations for efficiency improvements

About You

The company is looking for:

• Applicants pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering within the last 12 months
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Willingness to undergo government security investigations and meet eligibility for classified information access
• Less than 10% travel expected
