L3Harris seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to develop production processes and support strategic defense programs.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Analyze engineering design documents to develop methods, processes, tools, jigs, and fixtures for product fabrication
- Develop and prepare work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and process validation plans
- Lead the set-up and validation of new production lines and provide training
- Monitor production key performance indicators and respond to ensure goals are met
- Analyze manufacturing production problems and implement corrective actions involving designs, materials, and processes
- Provide technical expertise and support related to manufacturing
- Conduct capacity analyses, capability studies, and gage repeatability and reproducibility studies
- Support production through operator training, process issue resolution, and monitoring existing operations for efficiency improvements
About You
The company is looking for:
- Applicants pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering within the last 12 months
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Willingness to undergo government security investigations and meet eligibility for classified information access
- Less than 10% travel expected
