L3Harris seeks an Associate, IT Security to assess and secure network infrastructure, supporting national security technology solutions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and oversight in assessing security infrastructure and network and systems design to ensure system/network security
- Identifying security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives
- Overseeing development, testing, and operation of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems, and software deployment tools
- Developing policies and procedures for securing system infrastructure and applications
- Conducting complex technical and programmatic assessments, evaluating engineering and integration initiatives, and providing technical support to assess security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Performing product evaluations, recommending and implementing products/services for network security
- Interacting with clients and providing recommendations on information assurance engineering standards, implementation dependencies, and changing information assurance related technologies
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology/Computer Information Systems with Network Focus or Communications Focus, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and security infrastructure including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPSec, VPNs
- Knowledge of Computer/System Security topics such as Antivirus, Authentication, Authorization, Access Control, Cryptography, SSO, Business Continuity Planning, and Application Security
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas: $63,500.00 MIN - $117,500.00 MAX
- Salary range in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont: $55,000.00 MIN - $102,000.00 MAX
