Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Develop novel, scalable algorithms and modeling techniques advancing LLMs and generative AI for robotics
- Tackle challenging research problems on production-scale data focusing on robotic perception, manipulation, and control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams leveraging expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and motion planning
- Work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
About You
The company is looking for candidates who have:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and commit to a maximum 12-week internship
- Willingness to relocate to the internship location (San Francisco, CA)
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and/or robotics
- Publication record at science conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, RSS, CoRL, or ICLR
- Experience with multimodal LLMs, world models, image/video tokenization, real2Sim/Sim2real transfer, bimanual manipulation, open-vocabulary panoptic scene understanding, scaling multi-modal LLMs, and end-to-end vision-language-action models
- Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or JAX
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Preferred: Experience designing experiments and statistical analysis of results
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $62.21/hr to $102.31/hr depending on geographic market and experience
