Join Texas Instruments as an Applications Engineer Intern to collaborate with customers on innovative electronic solutions and product launches.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work directly with TI customers to identify design challenges and develop ease-of-use solutions that add value
- Collaborate with design, marketing, sales, and product definition teams to launch new products
- Promote TI products and provide technical solutions to customer design challenges
- Provide technical support by reviewing designs, debugging problems, and answering customer questions
- Support customer technical seminars and distributor training sessions
- Spend hands-on time in TI labs to tackle problems and deliver innovative development solutions
About You
The company is looking for:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Bio-Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components
- Knowledge of analog circuitry such as op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.
- Preferred experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, soldering, and debugging skills
- Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
- Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
- Ability to build lasting, influential relationships inside and outside the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
