Applications Engineering Intern (Start ASAP)

Applications Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, working with customers to solve design challenges and support product launches in a collaborative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work directly with TI customers to identify design challenges and create value-added solutions
• Collaborate with design, marketing, sales, and product definition teams to launch new products
• Promote TI products and provide technical solutions to customers
• Provide technical support by reviewing designs, debugging problems, and answering questions
• Support customer technical seminars and distributor training sessions
• Spend hands-on time in TI labs developing innovative solutions that support products and drive revenue

About You

The company is looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Bio-Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components
• Knowledge of analog circuitry such as op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.
• Preferred: experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes), soldering, and debugging skills
• Preferred: programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions
• Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery
• Ability to build lasting relationships inside and outside the organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Initiative and drive for results
• Ability to influence decisions with urgency and competitive drive
