Amazon seeks ASIC Engineer Interns to participate in custom silicon design, verification, and validation, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in logic design, verification, and post-silicon validation as part of Amazon custom silicon solutions.
- Work with physical design teams to achieve performance and area requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of end customer requirements, including software applications, use models, system architecture, and SoC architecture/micro-architecture.
- Develop and execute design automation mechanisms and flows.
- Engage with experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products.
- Collaborate closely with internal interdisciplinary teams and external partners to drive product definition, execution, and verification.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Can work a minimum of 40 hours per week and commit to a maximum 12-week internship.
- Can relocate to the internship location.
- Have experience in RTL coding and debug, as well as performance, power, and area analysis and trade-offs.
- Have experience in C/C++ and SystemVerilog coding.
- Possess knowledge of schematic design and debug skills.
- Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline, with an expected graduation date between October 2026 and September 2029.
- Preferred: Enrolled in a Master’s degree program.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $50/hr to $88.94/hr depending on geographic market.
