Gain hands-on experience in application engineering, collaborating on real projects with Honeywell’s innovative engineering teams.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the design, development, and testing of new applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Supporting engineers in various stages of the application engineering process.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support project objectives.
  • Documenting and communicating project progress and findings.
  • Translating customer needs to usable design requirements.
  • Designing systems utilizing Honeywell standard offerings and outside purchased products.
  • Balancing design optimization with customer budgetary constraints.
  • Ensuring cost and schedule estimates are consistent with historical company performance.
  • Assisting in writing proposals that are both technically correct and easily readable.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Enrollment in a relevant engineering program.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles.
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
  • (Preferred) Pursuing an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a related field.
  • Experience with engineering software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
