Join Texas Instruments as an RF Design Intern to apply machine learning in RF/mmWave circuit design within a leading R&D environment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Utilizing machine learning-based approaches to design RF and mmWave circuits
- Generating training data, training neural networks, and performing inverse design synthesis using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
- Designing intuitive and non-intuitive passive microwave components such as matching circuits, filters, hybrid couplers, Wilkinson dividers, and power combiners
- Designing intuitive and non-intuitive active circuits including Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, phase shifters, and mixers
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with RF/mmWave background and AI/ML experience
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Strong coding and scripting skills using Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow (preferred)
- Experience with electromagnetic simulators such as HFSS, EMX, Helic, or Momentum (preferred)
- Prior tape-out experience of RFIC designs on CMOS, SiGe, or III-V (preferred)
- Knowledge of prototype development, lab testing, and debugging (preferred)
