Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to robotics research projects, including AMMR (Autonomous Mobile Manipulation Robot) and Physical AI.
- Design and implement demos such as AMMR navigation, electronics inspection, or next-generation robotics showcases.
- Support path research planning with focus on collision-free (CFree) planning.
- Collaborate with external teams on electronics inspection prototypes and testing.
- Explore and prototype demos highlighting robotics innovation and real-world applications.
- Help prepare reports and presentations for management reviews.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance R&D efficiency.
- Engage in team meetings and contribute ideas for optimizing R&D operations.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the R&D team.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or PhD program in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field in the United States.
- Strong background in robotics algorithms, especially motion planning and/or perception.
- Experience with robotic simulation tools (e.g., ROS, Gazebo, Isaac Sim) or path planning libraries is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronics inspection or computer vision techniques.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Collaborative skills to convey ideas, share information, and provide project updates.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $20 - $34, based on qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
- Internships within the United States are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.
