AI Engineering Intern (Vocational Placement / Course Credit) (Start ASAP)

About the Project

We are an early-stage venture building a next-generation AI-driven decisioning platform for the financial services sector. This isn't just a wrapper around ChatGPT—we are building complex, agentic workflows to handle high-stakes financial decisions.

The Role

This is a vocational placement designed to support your university studies. You will work directly with the founder to architect and implement core features of the platform. You will be researching and deploying autonomous agents, testing evaluation frameworks, and solving real-world reliability challenges.

The Stack You Will Learn & Use

• Agentic Frameworks: CrewAI & LangChain (orchestrating multi-agent systems).
• LLM Ops: Optimisation, Evals, Guardrails, and Prompt Engineering.
• Core Engineering: Python & TypeScript.
• Models: Deep work with Claude and other SOTA models.

What We Are Looking For

• Curiosity First: You are the type of person who is already experimenting with agentic workflows or reading up on the latest LangChain releases.
• Engineering Background: You have a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• Independent Thinker: You don’t need to be micromanaged; you enjoy solving ambiguity and figuring out ""how"" to build something.

Eligibility (Required)

You must be a current university student.

This role is unpaid and must be undertaken as a Vocational Placement for course credit. Please check with your faculty (e.g., Engineering Industrial Training at UNSW, or Professional Practice at UTS) to ensure you are eligible before applying.
