Accounting & Finance Internship (May 2026)

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Gain in-depth exposure to fixed asset accounting and life cycle, participate in fixed asset annual confirmation, and assist with process improvement and system automation.
• Control warranty costs, define action plans, predict future costs, recommend accruals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce warranty costs.
• Maintain relationships with Business Partners and Accounting peers, prepare accounting schedules for reporting, document controls and processes, and ensure SOX 404 compliance.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Advanced experience in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft PowerQuery/Power BI and/or SQL is a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Experience with advanced Excel BI functionality and languages (Power Query (M), PowerPivot (DAX)).
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling.

• Hourly pay range: $23.00 - $35.00 plus benefits.

Training & Development

Interns will work closely with their Manager, Mentor, and team to grow both technically and personally through critical projects and hands-on experience at Tesla.
